Meg grew up making this shortbread with her mom over the festive season and has the best memories of the butter and flour mix between her fingers, the smell of shortbread wafting through the house and the rest of the Pascoe family hovering over the oven; waiting for their first bite. Nothing says Christmas like Pascoe* shortbread!
*Technically the recipe is Meg's mom's granny's recipe - so technically, nothing says Christmas like Dixon shortbread. (My mom would like everyone to know the facts about the recipe...)
